FROM OUR WORKSHOP
How a little gothic planter ended up helping real bats
We started making the Hanging Bat Planter because we thought it would be fun. One weird idea, printed on a machine Joe traded a laptop for. Then people started buying them, and telling us about the bats in their yards, and sending us photos of ours hanging on their porches.
It felt strange to build a business on bats without doing anything for the actual animals. So when Bat World reached out to us, we jumped at the opportunity.
Four dollars from every bat planter bought through this page goes to them. It is not a huge amount on its own. It adds up.
— Joe and Sara, Our Giving Grove
THE PLANTER
The Original Hanging Bat Planter
He hangs upside down with his wings wrapped around your plant, arrives pre-strung, and drains like a real pot should. Designed, printed, sanded and packed by the two of us in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.
$4 of your order goes to Bat World Sanctuary. Use code BATWORLD at checkout so we can count it.
